Course Markings
The race course will be marked with orange plastic ribbons. These could be hanging and/or as marker flags in the ground. Turns and junctions will be well marked with laminated signs and multiple ribbons/flags when approaching a key turn. Please only pay attention to the signs that are facing you. If a sign is facing away from you Do NOT look back at signage in junctions, that is there for you when coming from the opposite direction. In addition, flagging will be crossing non-race trails and “WRONG WAY” signs will be in place. All runners are responsible for understanding the layout of the courses. Please familiarize yourself with the maps which are located within this guide and on our website prior to race day. It is also never a bad idea to print a map and carry with you if you have concerns.

Trail Etiquette / Trash
There will be absolutely NO yelling at or being rude to a volunteer or staff member. If we hear of this happening, we reserve the right to DQ you from the race. Remember! These folks are volunteering their time to assist.
It is 100% their goal to get you through this race successfully. Please thank them! Please Do Not solely rely on volunteers, bystanders, or others to help direct you on the course.

It is YOUR responsibility to study the course and follow the signage. Please remember to remain on designated course/trails, no short cutting.

If you decide to use headphones, please limit your volume so you can hear your surroundings.
Also, pause your music or remove ear buds as you approach aid stations and/or a road crossing.
This course includes some very tight single track. If you are attempting to pass in one of these sections, please alert the runner in front of you before passing them. Likewise, if you hear a runner approaching you from behind, attempt to find a spot to allow the runner to pass. This course also includes a few sections that you will travel both out and back.
Please be aware of approaching runners and be considerate. Besides a handful of runners going for the win, everyone else is out here to simply enjoy the trails and community. Please remember that and support all and anyone you see.

Please respect the trails and the beauty of the park by properly throwing away any trash at one of our aid stations. Anyone caught littering will be immediately disqualified and will be banned from running any future Roam & Run Co events.

Drops / DNF
Although we hope this is not the case, it is inevitable for some. If you decide to drop from the race, you must do so at an aid station. Please inform the aid station captain. They must record your bib number and that you have dropped from the race. Service is great amongst most providers so calling someone to pick you up should not be too difficult. However, remember why you are out here, the training you have put in, that you are stronger than you think you are, and that you PAID TO DO THIS! Run WILD!!

Aid Stations
Your race number needs to be clearly visible to our staff. Our aid stations have your typical sweet and salty snacks: chips, pretzels, gummies, cookies, etc. We also try to have bananas, oranges, and watermelon. We have pickles and pickle juice at aid stations and ginger ale, coca cola, and mountain dew for soda. And of course, there will be water at all three aid locations.
